Orlando Gold will be hosting two training classes per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-9:30pm at the Orlando Sports Center. This class will help boys volleyball players prepare for the spring high school volleyball season by giving them specific volleyball instruction, conditioning and availability to play prior to the high school volleyball season. The cost of the training is $150 for four weeks (eight sessions- Jan 19, 21, 26, 28, Feb 2, 4, 9, 11). Players will only need to fill out a facility waiver and will receive an Orlando Gold practice shirt. Practices will be run by the Orlando Gold coaching staff.

Orlando Gold 2009-10 Winter Season
Thank you to all of the boys who tried out for Orlando Gold on November 7 and 8. We had our largest winter tryout. We are still looking to add players for our 13 Black team and the 17 Gold . We are also holding training for all boys interested in improving their skills who do not wish to travel. Please contact Mitch Sadowsky for more information if you are interested in these opportunities.
As a reminder, all boys MUST have all of their completed paperwork in order to practice. Players will be held out of practice if they do not have their paperwork turned in prior to Monday's practice on November 16th.

Orlando Gold is proud to announce new and continued partnerships for the 2009-2010 Boys Season. Our new partners include Titus Sports Academy, Bio-Genix, and Hotels Combined. Titus has a stregnth training facility located inside the OSC and has been working with our players on their strength, conditioning and plyometric workouts. Bio-Genix has been testing the Optimal Vertical performance system on several of our athletes and has seen great results. The supplement system works to increase a player's hydration level, electrolyte levels and streamline cell communication allowing the player to perform faster and jump higher. Hotels Combined is an internet based Hotel Search Engine that will be of great use to us when looking for the best hotel deals when we go on the road.
Our continued partners are the Dig 4 Kids Education Foundation, a non-profit after school program focused on empowering kids through education and athletic achievement and Gold Medal Squared, one of the leading volleyball camp and clinic companies in the country.

National Champions!!
Congratulations to the Orlando Gold 18 Black, 17 Black, 16 Black and 14 Black teams who all won AAU National Championships on Monday. The three day tournament hosted teams from Florida as well as teams traveling all the way from Lincoln, Nebraska and Northern California.
These are the first National Championships of any kind for our club in any age division. To honor the memory of Mark Headrick, who passed away Monday June 15, Orlando Gold would like to dedicate our National Championships in his memory. We would not be here as a club without Mark's hard work, passion and dedication and it is an honor to share this with you.
